I am thrilled that The Awakening Showgirl herself tapped me to offer EMERGENCE, the first Mystery School class I’ve led since 2023 (I’d been offering some form of Mystery School programs since 2011).
EMERGENCE completes on August 17th, and has been such a joy and so fruitful for the circle of women gathered – including me! – that I’m opening doors now to the 8-week sister of EMERGENCE, whose name is VENUS IN MOTION.
We are still solidly living in an extraordinarily rare evolutionary moment, one not seen in our lifetimes and only echoed loosely at the dawn of the last Renaissance in the early 1500's.
This is a rare threshold of emergence and becoming.
A threshold in which all that we have learned about ourselves as women, implicitly and explictly, about how to be and not be – in relationship with ourselves, others and Life itself – is up for deep review.
This season we give special attention to a Venus retrograde rebirth. While Venus goes retrograde every 18-19 months, this fall is the last time Venus makes her rebirth in Scorpio that anyone alive will witness. The next Scorpio rebirth won’t come until 2177.
What does this mean for us, you may ask?
It’s time for us to unabashedly embody the intelligence of our beauty on all levels.
To unlearn pushing and forcing and hustling.
To reclaim our innate magnetism.
To come to trust that the more we shed our conditioning to hide, censor, over-manage, over-adapt, people please and appease, the more our authentic selves attract what we long for: to be seen, loved, cherished and met deeply and profoundly.
We then naturally more fully inhabit ourselves, experience our full spectrum aliveness, and embody our souls.
This journey weaves together movement, dance, astrology, constellation work, embodied expression and active witnessing (the same foundational practice that undergirds conscious burlesque and supports us in becoming more fully inhabited, expressive and ecstatically alive), all in service of your authentic self being dusted off, so you can shine like the never-to-be-repeated stardust-in-a-body that you ARE.

We, in short, will be seeing one another into existence.
The kind of active witnessing we practice is the foundation of being seen in a way that calls out your essence, your authentic self … your soul.
You’ll have full choice around if, when, and how to be seen. Truly. It will be on your terms.
This kind of witnessing is also the foundation of any kind of satisfying performance, from leading a meeting at work to sharing a new idea with your sweetie … to doing conscious burlesque. This kind of witnessing supports the heart of performance that feels good, which is essentially UNperformance.
We’ll use music and brief improvisational exercises to help us embody what we’re discovering, rather than simply thinking or talking about it.
That’s how we’ll begin each week.
Every other week, we’ll stay in this territory of active witnessing and seeing one another, and then go deeper with exercises to support you accessing more of your own range and satisfaction than you might every have thought possible!
The six other weeks, after we’ve practiced witnessing each other and moving, we’ll do some constellation exercises to support our greater and greater rapport with ourselves and others, and we’ll conclude by witnessing one woman’s living constellation, of her astrological chart or her relationship with family or work or health or wealth. Whatever area in which she’s choosing to live a new story.
By living constellation, I mean some of you will embody planets, archetypes, family members and other elements of her life and soul map. Together, we’ll witness – and participate in – her unfolding at this unique juncture in human history.
Through our time together, we’ll be cultivating a field that invites deconditioning, unmasking, authenticity, vulnerability, agency, aliveness, homecoming and the highest octave of love.

While I’ve become well known for my Burlesque from the Inside Out (BIO) work, what is less known about me is the amount of time (and money) I’ve spent learning from other teachers who are leaders in the field of how “humans actually work,” how they genuinely integrate change, heal from trauma, and create what they desire. all in accordance with the cycles of the cosmos.
I’ve long noticed that, at the end of Burlesque from the Inside Out (BIO) programs, participants longed for the container to continue; for a space and time to take the tools, concepts, and practices further. And most of all for a way to continue, holding space for and seeing each other in the special way that we do in Showgirl Awakening circles.
All of these experiences are what lead me to creating Mystery School.
Showgirl Awakening itself is a culmination of the 20+ years of practice not only of dance, art and conscious burlesque, it’s also simmered together with all of the following work with organizations that I consider to be, themselves, thinly veiled mystery schools.
We combine everything I’ve learned while facilitating deep and lasting transformation through the teaching of body-based art and communication, infused with teachings I’ve received from:
Wisdomkeeper Angeles Arrien who has respectfully synthesized indigenous and perennial wisdom practices from around the world to become accessible for folks not born into them.
Jessica Murray of Mothersky who taught me not predictive astrology but rather, how to decode the archetypes of the stars as the way to see deeper into the Mystery of exactly who a person is – and who they are evolving to be.
The founders of InterPlay who taught me their concepts of Body Intellectual and the Physicality of Grace that allows me to access my own body’s wisdom, and facilitate others’ accessing theirs all the time.
Ane Axford of Sensitive Leadership proposed that Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs is reversed for Highly Sensitive Persons which blew my mind and has tracked SO well with my and my clients’ experiences.
Sonya Sophia’s School of Living Arts where I learned Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and was invited to share her mission of healing child abuse and neglect, and the war between sexes using this instrumental technique.
NLP Marin – a mystery school in its own right – facilitated my ability to SEE myself and others by truly unlearning and relearning how to be human.
Carl Buccheit, Carla Camou, Elena Veselago, Michelle Masters and Sarah Peyton mentored me in the art of Systemic and Family Constellations which is the quantum and physical place where personal, interpersonal, intergenerational and systemic change occurs. This has allowed me much more direct access to acknowledge the unspoken and unseen so I can help facilitate the change and healing in even the most painful human predicaments.
Sarah Peyton of Empathy Brain gifted me with her approach of applying interpersonal neurobiology in a practical sense that rests on her knowing that the path to healing our brains is to greet our bodies and experience with resonance.
I could go on and on; I have been on this journey for decades and have encountered many teachers and participated in other thinly veiled mystery schools - and I’ve created my own container to bring these teachings to YOU so you can embody your radiant essence and create (and experience) the life you desire.

What Do I Mean By ‘Showgirl’?
My definition of a showgirl:
As I see it, rather than a showgirl being a dancer who wears fringe and feathers, she is a woman who generously reveals her unique, radiant essence – which may include her wearing fringe and feathers in a show.
And how does she reveal her radiant essence? By actually being AT HOME in her body, regardless of what she’s wearing and however she’s moving or not.
And why is it generous to reveal her radiant essence? By being present in her body and naturally radiating her unique essence – she inspires her sisters to do the same.
For much of my life, I’ve been consciously aware that something precious lived at the intersection of Embodied Performance Art, Psyche and Spirit.
